My name is Michelle M. Lash.  In the mid 1990's, I started freelance designing for companies such as Leisure Arts and Imaginating.  My first series of designs were published by Leisure Arts.  The series called "Purr-fect Holiday Wreath" was published in the magazine, "For the Love of Cross Stitch" November 1997 issue.  I then discovered materials such as linens, specialty fibers and embellishments.  Being a freelance designer, I was limited on the type of materials to use in designing. So, I decided to create my own designing and publishing company, Brittercup Designs, in September of 2002.  We now have hundreds of designs on the market in counted cross stitch.  Our product line has expanded into Punchneedle and hand painted canvas for Needlepoint, all of which can be viewed in our online catalog.  Along with running Brittercup Designs, I am also a College Instructor in Graphic Arts.
